Professionally, I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Maine System and a Masters of Science in Business Administration from Husson College. Fifteen years of industry experience and 27 years of post-secondary teaching have provided a solid background in the business and computer-related fields.

My academic area of expertise is Web Design and Development, from basic html scripting to online shopping sites and everything in between. I serve as the coordinator of the CIS program and teach extensively online.

Personally, I have been married to a wonderful man named John for 37 years and have a wonderful family. John III is a fireman at the Old Town Fire Department and his wife Kelly is an occupational therapist at EMMC in Bangor. They have one son, Johnny - our first grandchild. Our daughter Jodi, who is a Captain in the Army, is currently stationed at Fort Lewis. She is married to Captain Steve Krippel. Jodi and Steve have both served in Iraq. Steve and Jodi have two girls, Katelyn and Emilee, so I am now a girl grammie as well.

When I am not pursuing my academic aspirations, you will find me power walking, shopping at the mall, or eating -- hence the power walking.
