CIS Program Advisory Board
The CIS Program has established a Program Advisory Board whose members are currently enjoying challenging careers in the IT field.
The charge of the board is to annually review the CIS curriculum to determine the relevance of its course offerings to current IT positions.
Because the board members are actively engaged in applying information technology, they are in a unique position to recommend courses in emerging technologies to fill corporate positions for which there are limited number of qualified applicants.
The input from these members has resulted in changes in the program curriculum and also the offering of CIS topics courses.
The board members are also an invaluable resource for identifying current employment opportunities for our graduates, often serving as organizational mentors for internship experiences and sharing professional experiences with individual classes on IT topics.
