Jason Judd joined Educate Maine as the Project>Login Program Director after 12 years with Maine Central Institute (MCI) in Pittsfield. In his time at MCI, Jason served in a variety of roles including as an English Teacher, Academic Counselor, Director of Academic and Career Planning, Director of Studies, and Dean of Academics. He received his B.S. from the University of Maine at Farmington, his M.S. from the University of Southern Maine, and he will soon receive his Ed.D. from Northeastern University.

Jason is the Chairperson for the Maine School of Science and Mathematics Board of Trustees. He has extensive experience in strategic planning and program/project development and is highly regarded by both Maine’s academic and business communities.

Kelly Samson-Rickert, is the Director of Workforce Development for the State of Maine, Office of Information Technology. Kelly, is a graduate of University of New England, James Madison University, and Shenandoah University. She holds an advanced degree in organizational leadership.

Prior to her career with the State, she held leadership positions with McDonald's Corporation, K-12 and Higher Education in human resources and workforce development. She is an adjunct professor for the education leadership doctoral program at the University of New England.

Kelly has been instrumental in creating the Office of Information Technology Intern/Mentorship Program. She partners with universities, colleges, and businesses to enhance community relations and highlight the exciting opportunities the State of Maine's Office of Information has to offer. She is eager to learn best practices and research leading trends to better the workplace. Our goal is to provide students with opportunities to learn about the careers in computer science and information technology. "If we can inspire one student to attend college, one student to advance their skills to achieve a career path in technology, one student to achieve their goal, we have fostered the environment for our future citizens to lead for tomorrow."

Paul Fraser is the Director of Information Technology for the City of Auburn, Maine. He holds an Associates Degree in Digital Electronics from a community college in Michigan and a BS in Applied Sciences from the University of Maine at Augusta.

He is currently a retired parent and casual student. He has always sought knowledge for it's own sake, and has skimmed around the edges of academia for the last 40 years. After a short stint as a traditional student, he began working in the IT field: first as a media technician in a Michigan high school, then as a service manager for an Apple Education retailer and then as a Senior Systems Analyst for the University of Michigan.

A minor navigational error led him to Maine, where he worked a brief while as a DBA for CMP and then through a succession of roles for the City of Auburn. The Auburn gig was just to have been for a couple of years to "establish a Maine credential" , but it sort of stuck. For 23 years...

DeeDee Reardon, an alumni of the UMA's Computer Information Systems post baccalaureate program, is currently employed as a Distance Education Web Design Specialist at the University of Southern Maine's Muskie School Public Service.

DeeDee has 13 years of graphic and web design experience, working as part of an e-learning team developing projects for state and national partners. She is currently enrolled in the Masters in Adult and Higher Education Program at USM.

Barbara Bachman, an alumni of the UMA's Computer Information Systems bachelor's program and UMaine's Management Information Systems master's program, is currently employed as a Systems Analyst at the Office of Information Technology in Augusta.

Having experienced the role of student and adjunct instructor in the CIS program, Barbara has a unique perspective that will further the mission of the Program Advisory Board.

Brian Huntley has 27 years management and senior staff experience in information security and systems planning, engineering, control, and operations within the public utility and financial services sectors, as well as over 25 years' experience in public safety. Around his special interest in advancing and promoting application of information security risk analytics within operations management and business investment planning, he serves as Program Manager of the Maine GMD/EMP Risk Analysis Program sponsored by the Maine Public Utilities Commission, and performs critical infrastructure security performance testing, risk analysis, and resiliency planning of the electric grid in Maine within his role as Lead Planning Engineer at Central Maine Power.

Formerly, he served as Camden National Corporation's Information Security Officer, and led an identity access management program at TD Bank. Mr. Huntley holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from WPI, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Maine. His professional credentials include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), and Project Management Professional (PMP).

John is the Chief Strategy Officer with Collaborative. During his tenure he has built and managed many organizations within the company including services, marketing, CDSC and currently leads the Waterville office. He has three decades of experience in the IT and IT consulting industries. His primary charter within the company is to drive service innovation, focusing on the evolving needs of clients and the IT marketplace. He has been largely responsible for the vision, launch and growth of the company’s newest and fastest growing business unit, the Collaborative Delivery Centers. This group, with locations in less populous US markets, delivers high value IT services with industry leading skill in a globally competitive model.

He maintains a focus on information management, an area in which he has over three decades of experience. John has spent a large portion of his career helping high-profile companies rein in information and use it to create immediate and long-term business value. John has extensive systems development and integration experience, and is an expert in business intelligence, data management, data warehousing, database design and architecture. He has developed solutions for companies in many different industries including Financial Services, Life Sciences, Retail, Consumer Goods, High Tech, Utilities, and State Government. Prior to joining Collaborative, John was Director of Technology at NerveWire, and before that, a Partner with CSC Consulting, where he directed the development of the National Data Warehousing Practice.
