Thank you again for an amazing three years. I am truly grateful of the opportunities afforded to me because of the university's commitment to nontraditonal students. All the of the professors that I had were extremely knowledgeable in the course material that they taught. The delayed viewing options for distance learning allowed me to continue to work full-time and go to school at night. The CIS faculty at UMA have developed a wonderful program that prepares students for a variety of jobs within IT. It allows the student to choose his or her own path.

Several of my courses included working with individual presentations that gave me real world experiences that I could apply immediately in the workforce. Many of my instructors went above and beyond to make sure all of their students had the proper understanding to successfully grasp and complete the course material presented. I am so proud to be an alumni of the University of Maine at Augusta where I earned a BS in Business Administration and a PBS in Computer Information Systems. My education at UMA prepared me for all of the wonderful opportunities that followed, including a MS in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Information Technology Project Management from Boston University.
